Notes with Lock

Last updated: May 30, 2026
Zero data collection
We do not collect any personal data. No analytics, no crash reports, no trackers. Everything you write stays exclusively on your device. We never see your notes, diary entries, passwords, or to-do lists β€” because they never leave your phone.
100% offline privacy
No servers, no cloud sync, no accounts. Your locked notes are encrypted and stored only in your app's local storage. Not even the developer can access your information.
Everything stays on device
Notes with Lock does not transmit, upload, or share any content. All notes, secret diary entries, and to-do lists are stored using your device's internal storage. No internet permission is used for data handling.
Important β€” no cloud backup: If you clear app data from Android settings, uninstall the app, or factory reset your device, all your notes will be permanently lost. Notes with Lock cannot recover them because we never store your data anywhere else.
Your responsibility: backup safely
Since everything remains local, you must regularly export your notes using the built-in share / export as TXT file feature. This gives you full control over your own backup.

Backup reminder: Share notes to secure storage (encrypted drive, personal email, or another safe location).
You can also store TXT exports on external drives or your computer.

The app includes a one-tap share button that lets you export individual notes or journals as plain text files. After sharing, we have no access to the destination β€” your privacy stays intact.
No personal information β€” ever
  • No names, emails, phone numbers or device identifiers
  • No IP addresses or location data
  • No usage statistics or telemetry
  • No crash reporting or performance tracking
  • No cookies, no web views, no external analytics SDKs
  • No permissions to access contacts, camera, microphone, or files (except sharing, initiated by you)
Verified: absolutely zero data collection
Security & local encryption
All locked notes are encrypted on your device using a PIN, password, or pattern lock. Even if someone gains physical access to your phone's storage, your notes remain unreadable without your lock method.
100% offline architecture β€” no data is ever transmitted over the internet. This eliminates risks of eavesdropping, man‑in‑the‑middle attacks, or server breaches.
Your data, your full control
You can delete any note, journal entry, or to-do list instantly inside the app. Deleting content removes it permanently from your device's storage. To delete all data, go to Android Settings β†’ Apps β†’ Notes with Lock β†’ Storage β†’ "Clear Data". This action erases everything irreversibly.
Because there are no servers, there is no data retention or data request process β€” you are the sole controller of your information.
Minimal permissions
Notes with Lock requires no special runtime permissions to function. The only time the app asks for any permission is when you voluntarily share a note (export as TXT or share via messaging apps). That action uses Android's share sheet and is initiated solely by you.
Children's privacy
Notes with Lock does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect no data whatsoever, there is no risk of unknowingly storing children's information.
Contact & questions
If you have any questions about privacy or data handling, contact us at: teamheartquote@gmail.com. We do not store any personal information from your message unless you explicitly share it.
Because we collect zero data, we never sell, rent, or share any user information β€” there is nothing to sell.
